Meet Lauren Lynch
My curiosity and innate desire to help others is what brought me to the mental health field. I have learned that each of us has a natural healing process within our mind and body that can provide positive and lasting results. I am passionate about using the mind body connection to help my clients ease tension and find peace in their daily lives.
I have five years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Currently, I work with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss and eating disorders.
I am certified in EMDR and specialize in trauma. The impacts of trauma can wreak havoc on your body, mind, mood, relationships, sleep, productivity and much more. Ignoring symptoms of trauma can create more stress and increase the difficulties of daily living.
EMDR has allowed me to take a scientific and successful path to the therapeutic process. It is a unique treatment modality that goes beyond the idea of traditional “talk” therapy. You will learn tools to quiet negative thoughts, cope with big emotions and regain control of your life. I use an authentic, creative and individualized approach to therapy and recognize the importance of a safe, trusting healing environment.
