Individual therapy sessions

While our treatment approach is adapted to meet the unique needs of each client, we predominantly take a person-centered approach in our sessions. In a nutshell, this means you’re in the driver’s seat, and we won’t steer you toward anything you aren’t bought into. Some of the primary therapeutic approaches we draw from are:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: Helps you understand your thoughts and how they impact your feelings and actions, and how to change them.
  • Solutions Focused Brief Therapy: Places heavy focus on drawing on untapped strengths you already have to help you resolve your immediate need in a short amount of time.
  • Motivational Interviewing: A collaborative conversation style that will help strengthen your own motivation for and commitment to change.
