Vivify Counseling and Wellness is committed to providing safe, quality services as our community works to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are continuing to provide services in the office, however are encouraging clients to transition to online, teletherapy sessions (more information below on that service). This office is able to maintain the standards of social distancing because of low volume of people with no more than 3 people in the facility at a time. Therapist and client are able to keep six feet of distance between them. We are taking precautions to make sure that we disinfect any touched surfaces between client visits. We ask that any clients who have any symptoms of respiratory illness conduct their session via teletherapy services.
Research shows that teletherapy (aka telehealth, telemental health, telemedicine, online or video counseling, virtual therapy etc) is an effective method of treatment. We use a secure, HIPPA compliant, videoconferencing platform that can easily be accessed via smartphone, tablet, or computer. Current clients are encouraged to begin using this method of service to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus. We are accepting new clients in-person, if needed, and online. All paperwork is completed online prior to the first session
