15-Minute Initial Phone Consultation: FREE
This is a time for us to connect and make sure we are a good fit for the issues you’re wanting to work on in counseling. We will answer any questions you have about our therapeutic approach for your issues, fees, payment, etc. We will not provide any counsel during this time; only referrals to other resources if needed. This phone consult is required prior to scheduling a session with us.

If your need requires more time, the rate will increase. Generally, more than one session is required for any kind of letter that is needed. Please discuss your need upfront during your free phone consult so expectations can be provided appropriately regarding fees and required sessions. *Please note we do not make court appointments, or provide SSDI or custody evaluations.
Phone calls longer than 10 minutes: $40
Should a client need assistance beyond 10 minutes, this additional fee will be assessed.

Payment options for in-person and teletherapy
Standard payment methods
HSA and FSA cards and all major credit cards are accepted. Cash and check are accepted for those receiving in-person therapy.
Using insurance to pay for counseling
Insurances we accept are: Custom Design Benefits (True Cost plan) and Med Ben.
We are not “in-network” with other insurance carriers for reasons including your confidentiality, requirement for a diagnosis, and control over the type and length of your treatment.**
However, if you would like to utilize your insurance, you still may be able to get reimbursement for a portion of your session costs. Use the benefits checker below to instantly find out if your insurance plans reimburses you if you see someone (like us) “out of network.” Just enter your basic info, and it will provide you an ESTIMATE of how much you will likely get reimbursed. If you do have that option, you can either submit a “Superbill” (that we give you) to your insurance company to get your reimbursement, or you can pay Mentaya a 5% fee to process the claim on your behalf.
**There are a lot of factors to consider when you are deciding if you will use insurance or not. Read our article that can help you better understand your options and hopefully increase the therapists you can choose from.
If you have an HSA or FSA card, you can also utilize that to pay for your sessions. This is an easy, indirect way of using your insurance benefits for therapy services at Vivify.
Since we are out-of-network with most insurances, we have partnered with Mentaya to help our clients save money on therapy. Use this instant benefits checker to see if you qualify for reimbursement for our services. There is no obligation and we do not store your information.
