If you’ve been holding everything together for everyone else, you may have reached a point where you’re exhausted. Maybe anxiety keeps your mind racing long after your head hits the pillow. Maybe you’ve lost touch with who you are outside of work, caregiving, or meeting everyone else’s expectations. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or simply know that life isn’t supposed to feel this hard.
I believe therapy should be a place where you can finally exhale. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, accepted, and supported without judgment. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that help you move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and authentic. While we can’t always change difficult circumstances, we can change the way we respond to them and discover new ways to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
One of the things I love most about being a therapist is witnessing the courage it takes for someone to ask for help. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they reconnect with themselves, heal from difficult experiences, and begin creating the life they want. Every person’s story is unique, so I tailor therapy to fit your goals, values, and needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years—and continue to—teach yoga and mindfulness to people from all walks of life. That experience continues to shape the way I approach therapy today. I believe our emotional well-being is deeply connected to the health of our minds, bodies, relationships, and daily habits. While traditional psychotherapy is always the foundation of my work, I also recognize the important role that mindfulness, movement, sleep, nutrition, stress management, and other lifestyle factors can play in supporting mental health. I’ve also completed specialized training in yoga and mindfulness for mental health, which shapes how thoughtfully I bring those practices into the therapy room.
I don’t believe healing comes from simply talking about problems. Lasting change often happens when we better understand ourselves and begin making small, sustainable changes that support the life we want to live. Depending on your goals, we may incorporate mindfulness practices, grounding techniques, body awareness, or explore how your daily routines influence your mood, energy, and resilience. My training includes trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. My hope is that you leave therapy not only with greater insight, but with practical tools you can use in everyday life.
My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, and families in school-based mental health. Today, I work with both adults and adolescents in the Covington, Northern Kentucky, and greater Cincinnati area, navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, caregiver burnout, relationship concerns, grief, self-esteem, and the effects of trauma. I especially enjoy working with people who are motivated for change but aren’t quite sure where to begin.
I believe mental health isn’t just about reducing symptoms. It’s about creating a life that feels fulfilling, connected, and sustainable. My goal is to help you heal the whole person by combining evidence-based psychotherapy with practical tools that support your emotional, physical, and relational well-being. If you’re looking for a therapist who values both science and the wisdom of the mind-body connection, I’d be honored to work with you. If that resonates with you, I’d love to connect — I invite you to schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation with me to see if we’re the right fit.
